The 2017 MPhil programme kicks off with the Space and Society course

The 2017 programme for the MPhil in Space Studies officially started on Monday the 20th of February, with the EEE5124Z Space and Society course. This course is co-presented by Prof Peter Martinez and Dr Annette Froehlich, and a number of prominent international guest presenters in the week 20 - 24 February. The course cover the key societal aspects of space activities, such as space policy, space law, space economics, commercial space activities, space programme management, international cooperation and space security. The course is suitable for students and working professionals who would like to have a deeper understanding of the industrial, financial and international aspects of the space arena.
